If you need the scanner to output the driver license data into seperate lines, please kindly scan the configuration codes below. Thank you.

1. First scan "activate Datamatrix" code

2. Scan "driver license data formatting" barcode

This configuration code only works for T22N, T26, TMSL-60, TMSL-70, TMSL-55, TMSL-56, TMSL-72

For people who do not have or do not want to purchase the recommended Teemi scanner:

The Driver’s license scanner must return raw data when scanning a driver’s license, and must return each field on a separate line.  Below is a sample output of how the scanner should be returning the data.  To test your scanner, you can scan a license into Notepad or Textedit (if you are using a Mac).

  IMPORTANT:

Some scanners under Chrome send characters that will open up the Chrome Download page.  Mainly, this is caused by a "Line Feed" programmed as a suffix on the scanner. Windows Operating systems interpret this as a "Ctrl+J" where that key press combination triggers something in the browse in the case of Chrome it opens the downloads window.  To fix this, the scanner needs to be reprogrammed NOT to send the Line Feed and only send the Carriage Return.

Contact the scanner manufacturer to find out how to reprogram your scanner.
