One of the most important reports in coreSTORE is the Profit and Loss report. To edit how profit is calculated in this report, go to the Store Config module, use the search box or the jump to drop-down menu to get you to the Profit Calculation section.
- Calculate Gift Card Profit When (1): Choose from the drop-down list below when you want calculate profit from gift cards (Do Nothing, Redeeming Gift Card, or Selling Gift Card).
- Choose Do Nothing if you do not want to calculate profit from gift cards.
- Choose Redeeming Gift Card if you want profit to be calculated from gift cards being used to buy items in a sale.
- Choose Selling Gift Card if you want profit to be calculated from selling gift cards.
- Remove Commission From Profit In Reports (2): Check this box if you do not want commissions to count towards profit in Reports.
- Remove Points Redemption From Profit (3): Check this box if you do not want points redemption to count towards profit in Reports.
