2408 is simply an error that the credit card transaction failed. The error message should include a reason why it failed. You can also go to the eCommerce Log (shift-shift and then look for eCommerce) to see the full log of why it failed. It could be anything from:
- Exceeded credit card limit
- Invalid card number
- Wrong expiration date
- Wrong CCV
- Wrong billing address
