How to Transfer an Item and/or Bound Book Record with Instant Transfer

You can transfer an item and/or Bound Book record between locations by going to Purchasing > PO & Receiving and changing the type to Instant Transfer. 

This is recommended for use when the locations are closely located and the secondary location will not need to receive the item into inventory.

If you will need to receive the item into inventory, it is suggested that you use Transfer Out/ Transfer In process. To learn more about that process, CLICK HERE.  

After you select "Instant Transfer," enter the product(s) (1), serial number(s) (2), and location(3). 

NOTE: Input the quantity that you intend to transfer, ensuring that it is a negative value. It should be negative because you are transferring it out of your inventory. 

Click "Complete Transfer."
