Receipt Section Guide

In the Store Config module, use the search box or the jump to drop-down menu to get you to the Receipt section.

 

Note: To see images of the drop-down lists, click on the letter in parentheses, for example "Select from the drop-down list (A)". This will bring you to the drop-down list section of this article.

 

  • Override Receipt Title (1): Input what you want to be the title on receipts if you do not want to use the default title (Sales Receipt).
  • Email Receipt Subject (2): Input what you want to be the subject of e-mailed receipts if you do not want to use the default subject (Sales Receipt).
  • Show Item Id On Receipt (3): Check this box to have the item ids of the items purchased by the customer displayed on receipts.
  • Show Total Discount On Receipt (4): Check this box to have the total amount of the discount the customer saved displayed on receipts.
  • Hide Prices on Fulfillment Sheet (5): Check this box to hide prices on fulfillment sheets.
  • Show Item Id On Receiving (6): Check this box to have the item ids of the items received in PO & Receiving displayed on receivings receipts.
  • Number Of Decimals For Quantity On Receipt (7): Choose from the drop-down list (A) how many decimals to display for any quantity on receipts. It is recommended to keep the default value Let system decide. This will display at least 2 decimals and show more as needed. If you want to specify the amount of decimals in the price, you can choose any number 0-10.
  • Indicate Taxable On Receipt (8): Check this box to indicate which items the customer purchased were taxable displayed on receipts.
  • Show Tax Per Item On Receipt (9): Check this box to have the amount of taxes that the customer paid per item displayed on receipts.

  • Hide Description On Receipt (10): Check this box if you do not want the description of the items purchased by the customer displayed on receipts.
  • Hide Description On E-Mailed Receipts (11): Check this box if you do not want the description of the items purchased by the customer displayed on e-mailed receipts.
  • Hide Description On Sales And Receivings Interfaces (12): Check this box if you do not want the description of the items displayed on the Sales and Receivings interfaces.
  • Show Original Price On Receipt If Marked Down (13): Check this box to have the original price of an item displayed on the receipt if the price has been marked down, instead of displaying only the marked down price. ?????
  • Print Receipt After Sale (14): Check this box to have the receipt automatically printed after a sale is completed, instead of having to manually print the receipt.
  • Wide Printer Receipt Format (15): Check this box if you are using a wide receipt printer.
  • Print Receipt After Receiving (16): Check this box to have the receivings receipt automatically printed after a receiving is completed.

  • Hide Signature (17): Check this box if you do not want the customer's signature displayed on receipts.
  • Auto Capture Signature (18): Check this box if you want the option to have the customer sign on the receipt to automatically display on the receipt.
  • Remove Customer Name From Receipt (19): Check this box if you do not want the customer's name displayed on receipts.
  • Remove Employee Name From Receipt (20): Check this box if you do not want the name of the employee who is running the register displayed on receipts.
  • Remove Customer Company Name From Receipt (21): Check this box if you do not want the name of the customer's company's name displayed on receipts.
  • Remove Customer Contact Info From Receipt  (22): Check this box if you do not want the customer's contact info displayed on receipts.
  • Sort Receipt Column (23): Choose from the drop-down list (B) how you want receipts to be sorted, either not at all (None), or by Item NameUPC/EAN/ISBN, or Product ID. ?????

  • Automatically Email Receipt (24): Check this box if you want receipts automatically e-mailed to the customer's email address.
  • Automatically SMS Receipt (25): Check this box if you want receipts automatically sent via text message (SMS) to the customer's phone number.
  • SMS When Suspending A Transaction (26): Check this box if you want to have the ability to send a text message (SMS) to the customer's phone number for sales that have not been completed, like Layaways.
  • Automatically Print Duplicate Receipt For Credit Card Transactions (27): Check this box if you want a duplicate receipt printed for credit card transactions.
  • Always Print Duplicate Receipt For All Transactions (28): Check this box if you want a duplicate receipt printed for every transaction.
  • Automatically Show Comments On Receipt (29): Check this box if you want comments to automatically be displayed on receipts (if there is a sale that you do not want the comments displayed on the receipt and you have this box checked, you can always uncheck the Show comments on receipt box on the Sales interface underneath the Complete Sale button).
  • Hide Barcode On Receipts (30): Check this box if you do not want a barcode displayed on receipts.
  • Group All Taxes On Receipts (31): Check this box if you want to group all of the taxes charged in a sale on receipts, instead of having each separate tax listed.
  • Redirect To Sale Or Receiving Screen After Printing Receipt (32): Check this box if you want to be redirected to the Sales or PO & Receiving screen after receipts are printed.

  • Receipt Text Size (33): Choose from the drop-down list (C) what size you want the text to be on receipts (SmallMediumLarge, or Extra Large). Also see How to Change Font Size for Receipts in coreSTORE.
  • Hide Store Account Balance On Receipt (34): Check this box if you do not want the store account balance for a customer displayed on receipts.
  • Round To Nearest .05 On Receipt (35): Check this box if you want the price to be rounded to the nearest .05 cents on receipts.
  • Return Policy (36): Input your store's return policy, which will be displayed on receipts (This field is required).
  • Announcements/Specials (37): Input any announcements or specials you want displayed on receipts.
  • Layaway Policy (38): Input your store's layway policy if you want it displayed on receipts.
  • Special Order Policy (39): Input your store's order policy if you want it displayed on receipts.
  • Enable PDF Receipts (40): Check this box to have e-mailed receipts sent as PDF files.
