In the Items sub-module of the Inventory module, there are checkboxes that you can check to select an item or items, which shows options for interacting with the item(s). You can select all of the items on the page you are currently on, based on your current search, by checking the checkbox at the top of the list in the column names row (A) (if you do select all of the items on the page you are currently on based on your current search, click here to jump to the Select All Inventory Items section at the end of this article), or you can select a particular item or a group of items by checking the checkbox(es) next to the item(s) in the list (B).

Once you select the item(s) that you want to interact with, several options will show at the top of the screen above the Items List section.

  • Click the Edit button (C) to quick edit the selected item(s) (for more information on how to quick edit multiple items, see Editing Multiple Items at the Same Time).
  • Click the Select All button (D) to select all of the items on the page you are currently on, based on your current search.
  • Click the Labels button (E) to print a label/labels for the selected item(s) (for more information on how to print labels for items, see Printing Item/Item Kit Labels).
  • Click the Clear Selection button (F) to un-select the item(s) selected in the list.
  • Click the Delete button (G) to delete the selected item(s).
  • Click the Excel Export button (H) to export the selected item(s) to an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Click the Set as ECommerce button (J) to have coreSTORE automatically check the Is Ecommerce Item checkbox in the Item Info tab for the selected item(s) (for more information about the Item Info tab, see Item Info Tab Guide).
  • Click the Set as Not ECommerce button (K) to have coreSTORE automatically uncheck the Is Ecommerce Item checkbox in the Item Info tab for the selected item(s) (for more information about the Item Info tab, see Item Info Tab Guide).
  • Click the Change Category button (L) to have the Select a category window pop-up where you can select an existing category (either by scrolling through the drop-down list or by narrowing down the results as you type in which existing category you are searching for) for the selected item(s). After selecting the category, click the OK button [will override the category(ies) previously selected for the item(s)].

Select All Inventory Items

When you check the checkbox at the top of the list in the column names row (A) to select all of the items on the page you are currently on, based on your current search, an alert will pop-up that says "All items on this page are selected. Select all inventory items for current search" (B). In order to select all of the items in your inventory based on your current search, not just the items on the page you are currently on, click the underlined part of the alert that says inventory items for current search.

This will pop-up a window verifying that you want to select all items in your inventory based on your current search (This applies to all items in inventory for current search). If you want to continue, click the OK button (C). If you do not want to continue, click the Cancel button (D) or the x (E).

If you continued by clicking the OK button (C), your coreSTORE will select all of the items in your inventory based on your current search, turning the alert green and now saying "All items based on current search are selected. Clear selection" (F). If you want to un-select the items in your inventory based on your current search that are not on the page you are currently on, click the alert, reverting it back to its original appearance (B).
