With coreILLA, it's essential to mask sender emails to maintain a professional appearance in your email communications. This guide covers the different aspects of configuring sender email settings.

Which Sender Email Should Contacts Receive Emails From?

Depending on whether contacts are assigned or unassigned, the sender email settings can vary.

Here’s a breakdown:

  • Manual Emails:
    • Logged in user email is the 1st priority for both assigned and unassigned contacts.
  • Automated Emails
    • Campaign/workflow settings email is the 1st priority.
    • Assigned User Email is the 2nd priority for unassigned contacts.
    • Location Email and Agency Email follow as 3rd and 4th priority, respectively.

Configuring Sender Email Manual Email

  • Conversation Tab:
    • The From email defaults to the logged in user email. If 2-way email sync is set up, it will show the integrated email.

Automated Email

  • Email Template:
    • Navigate to Marketing > Emails > Templates > +New to configure the sender email.
  • Bulk Action - Send Email:
    • Go to Contacts ->Smart Lists -> Select Contacts -> Click Send Email to specify the From Name and From Email.
  • Workflow Settings:
    • Navigate to Automation -> Workflows -> Create Workflow to configure the sender address in the settings.
  • Workflow Send Email Action:
    • Within a workflow, click on the + button > Select the "Send Email" option to enter the From Name and From Email.

FAQs

  • Why does the From email for outlook look long and strange?
    • This is an issue with how Outlook displays the sender's information. Sending the email to a Gmail address will display the sender's information correctly in Gsuite.
  • How to remove the 'send via' information in Gmail
    • Ensure to use the same sender email domain that matches your email sending service domain to remove the 'send via' information. For further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.
