Question: Product X is legal in my state but coreFORCE is showing it as prohibited. How can I remove this restriction so customer can purchase it here?
Answer: All state restriction data comes from distributors via the Coreware Shooting Sports Catalog. Coreware can not take responsibility for removing a restriction from a product that a distributor says is restricted in a particular state. The state restriction data from the distributors will always overwrite the Coreware Shooting Sports Catalog.
The way to resolve this is that the dealer themselves must take responsibility for certifying that the product is legal in their state. This is done by adding a custom field IGNORE_RESTRICTIONS_XX, where XX is the state abbreviation. (Example screenshot below)
In order for Coreware support to make this change for a client, the dealer must provide explicit direction to do so in writing in a ticket including agreeing to take full responsibility in the case of any compliance violations.
