Product Categories that hide products from the front end

There are a couple of categories that will hide products from the front end of your site.

Discontinued

This category is automatically added when the product is placed into the distributor's discontinued feed. If the distributor added it and removed it right away the product would be marked with that category. That category does not automatically get removed from products, so if they re-add it to the feed it will still be discontinued.  

Inactive

This category will hide the product from both the front and back end, unless you have show inactive marked in your preferences

Not_Searchable

This category will hide the item from the search results from your website
