Clarification on "Manual Card" Charges

Created by Ezra Weinstein, Modified on Tue, 29 Nov 2022 at 03:22 PM by Hannah Harris

A MANUAL CARD means that you rang the card up on your terminal or by visiting the gateway. The Last 4 Digits of the card and expiration date are merely there for information purposes. Our point of sale system is PCI compliant which means we do not allow you to enter a card manually into the system. So what you would do is go to your terminal and enter the transaction there. Please understand this is for your own protection. Corestore has NO IDEA what the credit card number is that was used for a transaction and has no way of storing this information nor can we tell the gateway to charge a card that was previously used. This is something that WILL NEVER be added to the system, we must stay PCI compliant and cannot give you a way to manually enter a credit card. This can easily be done directly on your terminal or directly by visiting the gateway site.
