If you need to add an overall note to a sale, you can add one by clicking on the empty note icon in the top right corner of the main Sales screen in the section that contains the extra options and the Suspended Sales button.

When you click this icon, the Enter Note window will pop-up. You can add new notes and manage existing notes using the following options:

  • Internal Note (A): Check this checkbox if you want this note to be for internal use only. ?????
  • Note (B): If you want to add a simple one-line note, input it here. If you want to add a note that is more in depth, input the title of the note here and input the details of the note in the next field (C).
  • Detailed Note (C): If you want to add a detailed note, input the title of the note in the previous field (B) and input the details of the note here.
  • Drag/Drop or Upload Files (D): To add a file to the note, click inside the area outlined by the blue dashes to add a file from the device you are currently using or drag and drop files from the device you are currently using into this area.
  • Existing Note Details (E): If there is an existing note that has already been added to the sale, the date and time that the note was created, the details of the note, and the employee that was logged-in when the note was created will show here.
  • Edit Existing Note (F): If you want to edit an existing note, click the pencil icon.
  • Delete Existing Note (G): If you want to delete an existing note, click the trash can icon (if you delete a note, you will automatically be re-directed to the main Sales screen, so if you want to add or delete another note, you will need to access this pop-up window again).
  • Cancel (H): Click the Cancel button to cancel any changes.
  • Save (J): Click the Save button to save any changes.

After you click the Save button to save your changes, you will be brought back to the main Sales screen. The note icon will now be filled-in to signify that at least one note has been added to the sale.
