Note: ONLY use the following steps if processing a PARTIAL refund with previous payments, view this article for a complete refund: How to process a complete refund of a suspended sale

Step 1: Unsuspend the sale

Step 2: If you want to keep the charge for an item, leave its quantity as a positive just like it is in the sale already. If you want to charge a restocking fee in addition, add it to the sale with a positive quantity.

Step 3: If you want to refund an item, remove the current quantity and make it a quantity of 0 (Note: if the item is a firearm, it will also remove the serial number from the sale).

Step 4: Based upon any previous payments taken in on the sale, coreSTORE will calculate an expected partial refund amount using this formula: [sum of positive quantity items on the sale + tax (if applicable)] - sum of previous payment(s) amount = expected partial refund
