Google reCAPTCHA is a powerful tool that helps protect websites from spam, abuse, and malicious bot activity. By integrating reCAPTCHA with coreFORCE, you can enhance the security of your website and ensure a better user experience.

This knowledge base article will guide you through the process of setting up Google reCAPTCHA with coreFORCE, including creating the necessary keys and saving them in the coreFORCE system.

What is Google reCAPTCHA?

Google reCAPTCHA is a free service provided by Google that uses advanced risk analysis algorithms to distinguish between humans and bots. It adds an additional layer of security to online forms, login pages, and other interactive elements on websites. By implementing reCAPTCHA, you can effectively protect your website from spam, fraudulent activities, and automated bot attacks.

To use Google reCAPTCHA with coreFORCE, you need to create a set of reCAPTCHA keys. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open a web browser and go to this LINK.
  2. This link will provide a video demonstration of the key creation process.
  3. Sign in to your Google account. If you don't have one, you can create a regular Google email account.

  5. Set your Security Preference to "Most Secure" to ensure the highest level of protection against bots.

Google reCAPTCHA is free for up to 1 million assessments per month, which refers to real user interactions that include clicking the reCAPTCHA widget and placing an order. If you exceed this limit, you will need to activate payment on your Google account, which costs $1 per 1000 assessments per month.

Saving the Google reCAPTCHA Keys in coreFORCE:

Once you have created the reCAPTCHA keys, you need to save them in the coreFORCE system. Follow the steps below:

  1. Access the coreFORCE platform and log in with your credentials.
  2.  Navigate to the appropriate section or module where you can manage the reCAPTCHA settings. Note that this feature is available only for coreFORCE Express/Enterprise customers.
  3. Follow the instructions provided in this video tutorial on Saving reCAPTCHA Keys in coreFORCE: CLICK HERE.

Note: If you are a coreFORCE Lite customer, the integration of Google reCAPTCHA is already implemented for you. However, if you want to use your own keys, you will need to create a help desk ticket and provide your reCAPTCHA keys to the support team. They will save the keys in the system on your behalf.

Conclusion:

Integrating Google reCAPTCHA with coreFORCE offers an effective solution to protect your website from spam and automated bot attacks. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can create the necessary reCAPTCHA keys and save them in the coreFORCE system, thereby enhancing the security of your website and ensuring a better user experience for your customers.
