How to set up the Printful API for coreFORCE

Created by Ezra Weinstein, Modified on Fri, May 31 at 6:39 PM by Jeff Cummins

  1. To set up the Printful API for coreFORCE, you need to first set up the Printful location. Go to Products > Settings > Locations.
  2. Create a new location with the location code, "PRINTFUL".
  3. In the Product Distributor field, select the product distributor "PRINTFUL".
  4. Go to Products > Settings > Distributor Credentials.
  5. Create a new location credential. In the Location field, select the Printful location.
  6. IMPORTANT: Because of the requirements of OAuth, Printful requires the Token request to come from a coreware.com or corefire.shop domain name.  If you try to log into Printful from a different domain, you will get an error.

Make sure you are logged into the coreware.comcorefire.shop version of your domain name before doing the following step.  For example, if your public domain name is www.myonlinestore.com, you should log into myonlinestore.coreware.com (coreFORCE Advanced/Enterprise) or myonlinestore.corefire.shop (coreFORCE Basic/Standard)
  7. Click the "Get Printful Token" button.  You will be redirected to printful to login. (If you see a page that says "Dang it", see step 6 above)

  8. Log in to Printful.

  9. From the dropdown in the lower left, change "Create a new Printful store" to your Printful store name and click Authorize.

  10. If the token is correctly retrieved from Printful, you will see (Saved Token) in the API Key/Private Token field and the "Use OAuth authentication" box will be checked.  You can verify that the credentials work by clicking "Test Credentials"
