As of March 2023, all product feeds in coreFORCE are generated by a background process instead of being generated live from the database when the the feed is accessed. The process for how this works is as follows:
- When you access the feed page the first time, it will generate an empty feed.
- Within about 10 minutes, a background process will notice that there is a new empty feed and populate it.
- If the feed is not accessed within 7 days, it will be deleted, so you will have to manually access it again to restart the process in steps 1 & 2.
This applies to the following product feeds:
- AmmoSeek
- Gun.deals
- High Cap Deals
- WikiArms
- Avantlink
The feed generator may also be used by other product feed integrations which are not publicly available. If you are having an issue with an empty product feed not listed above, try the above steps before contacting support.
Please note that the feed generator is NOT used by the Google product feed.
